Description:
British animal rights activists breaks into a science laboratory to free chimpanzees used for research. The chimps are all inserted with a rage virus that quickly spread among the human populations, making human zombies of the diseased.
Jim awaken from a coma 28 days after the virus outbreak and teamed with a couple other survivors they have to keep alive and search for a cure before the whole human race gets erased.

Two times I have seen 28 days later, it is a brilliantly made drama/thriller about humanity put to the test, that just happend to include loads of zombies. It migh sound kind of lame, but this movie is so much more than your average horror flick. The mood in the movie is much more important than blood and limbs beeing ripped apart. It's refreshing that a director got the guts to play with the genre like it is done here. The outcome is the most important horror movie of 2002 and truly one to watch.
