Description:

A young Mayan is faced with his own mortality as his village is plundered, his people enslaved. Jaguar Paw is a young warrior who escapes being offered as a sacrifice only to find himself being hunted down by a group of warriors. Fast action and heart throbbing suspense make this movie a must see. This movie is not, however for those with a weak stomach. Graphic violence is a key feature to this film.

Explicit violence, indian history, and the fight to survie against all odds are keywords that can be used about Apocalypto.
This 3 oscar nomine action packed movie is very well directed, and Mel Gibson continue to make strong movies that are very explicit, and this movie got just as much blood as The Passion of The Christ.
For some I reckon the violence is a bit to much, but our history is bloody, so it's really a natural consequence.
I really liked this movie, and even if it last for 2 hours and 12 minutes, it never felt long.
Be careful though, this movie is absolutely not for kids!!!
