Description:
An overprotective mother try to hook her daughter up with "Mr. Right" to avoid her doing the same mistake she did. The mother, Daphne Wilder (Diane Keaton), has seen two of her attractive daughters happily married, but her last daughter is a mess when it comes to dating. She takes matters into her own hands and puts out a personal ad, and goes ahead with interviewing the men herself. While the mother is doing this, the daughter, Milly (Mandy Moore) falls in love with a musician. After a while of dating the musician and the guy her mother picks out for her, she eventually has to make a choice. Beacuse I said so, is a chick flick which explores the bonds between women.
