Plotless nightmare

The movie lacks any real flow to it, after the defeat at the first drinking competition and a very confused recruitment process, the training for the event begins. Following on, the German team attempts to thwart the training of the Americans, culminating in the death of one of the American team, but being replaced minutes later by his Texan identical twin. The gimmick of the movie is the final challenge in the contest - drinking a boot full beer. The outcome of the movie from here is very predictable and linear, the 'good guys' triumph over the evil Germans, and so on. The main problem with this movie is that it has too many subplots. A subplot is vital to the life of the main plot, but not when it takes over and multiplies. It seems that after deciding on the main plot they discovered that it wasn't enough to carry the movie through the full way and went off on random, poorly strung together tangents. In all the movie was a very poor excuse for drinking heavily.
