Description:
Californication stars David Duchovny as the novelist Hank Moody, a rather troubled writer who's move to Los Angeles has made a messy situation with his ex-girlfriend Karen and their daughter Becca. Hank is facing a writers block, and moves around from woman to woman with no direction in life. He loves his daugther very much, but also his ex-girlfriend, who now is in a new relationship to his dismay. It gets worse as he gets a job as a blogger for a website, and finds out it's own by his Karen's new boyfriend.
Californication touches on a lot of dubious subjects about sex and relationships, and has gotten a lot of critisism for it's explicit scenes and more so it's controversial scenes. The show is a mix of drama and comedy and has in general been fairly well received.
