Description:
Set in 1876 in South Dakota, Deadwood gives us the story of a settlement camp where greed, violence and schemeing is your average day. The story unfolds just two weeks after Custers defeat at Little Big Horn. Deadwood is located in the Black Hills Indian Cession and is inhabited mostly by criminals, illegal settlers, people with a troubled past and those who want to earn a quick buck. Some of the key people in the town that we get to follow are Al Swearengen, one of the saloon owners in town, Seth Bullock, a former law man, and the infamous Wild Bill Hickok.
The first season introduces us to all the characters we'll end up loving or hating in this epic, western story!

When it comes to TV-series Deadwood is my all time favorite.
The raw dialogue, the struggle for power and the exellent acting makes this western a real classic.
I couldn't ask for more, so I was real sad when they canceled it after just two seasons.
I've heard that they might make a movie of it, so that is definitely something I look forward too.
For those that haven't watch this series yet - You have good times ahead.
