Description:
Working for the Miami police is the forensics expert Dexter, a likeable guy who happens to moonlight as a serial killer. Dexter was raised in a foster family, and his foster father discovered Dexter's darker sides early and taught him to control his urges. As Dexter grows up, he learns how to use his urges to get rid of bad elements that elude the police. The first season tells us a lot about Dexters past.

I'm no big fan of police series, but this serie is different.
We follow a blood specialsit that works for the police, but on his spare time he is a serie killer that channels all his perverted urges killing people that deserves it.
This serie brings a nice mix to the plate.
On one hand we have a very skilful blood specialist fighting crime, and on the other hand a cruel beast that loves to kill.
It certainly brings flavor to this serie, that will give you hours of blood dripping entertainment. - It's well worth checking out.

This is officially one of my new favorite shows. A friend told me to watch it forever, and when I finally did, I was thoroughly happy. The show kicks ass. It's a great mix of drama and comedy. Michael C. Hall does a wicked job as the show's lead man and the supporting cast does a great job as well.
I can't wait for the next season to start, but I hear it's a long wait yet. If you like CSI and similar shows, you should really see this one. I found it better than CSI, that's for sure, and I love CSI.
