Pleasantly surprised! 4 out of 6 stars [ ? ]

young Kayle is out of control after the death of his father, and after punching his Spanish teacher in the face he is sentenced to
house arrest with an electronic chain around his ankle.
After a few days with TV watching and complete boredom a stunningly looking girl moves in to the neighbor house, and Kyle is drawn into
a world of voyeurism, spying on all his neighbors.
He sees some suspicious activities, and start thinking one of his neighbors is a killer, but is it just in his imagination?

The plot in this movie has very much in common with the Hitchcock classic "Rear Window" from 1954, and while Disturbia can't reach the same height,
this American youth movie uses a combination of humor and hi tech voyeur tools that works great.
And when the drama gets really turned on, I found Disturbia cleverly made and enjoyed the hours it lasted.

This movie was a pleasantly surprise, I expected a bad Hollywood horror movie and got a good mix of humor, sexy babe, and horror that was really entertaining.
