Beyond Good and Evil is a multi-platform third person action adventure game developed and published by Ubisoft. Unlike many third person adventure games, Beyond Good and Evil places a heavy emphasis on stealth as opposed to merely combat.

The story is set on the planet Hillys which is besieged by aliens known as the DomZ. The DomZ are abducting citizens of Hillys for their own sinister purpose. A military defense group called Alpha Section has been deployed to repel the invaders, but appears to be losing the battle. Players control Jade, a young female photographer, who begins working for the IRIS network to discover the real forces behind the DomZ invasion and the suspicious Alpha Section. Jade will be aided by her companions Pey'j and Double H, as well as members of the IRIS network as they struggle to bring the truth to the people.
