Description:

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth book in British author J.K. Rowling's best-selling series. The Dark Lord Voldemort has returned following his confrontation with Harry in the graveyard at the conclusion of the Triwizard Tournament. Harry is attacked by dementors near his summer home on Privet Drive but manages to fend them off. He is then escorted to the hidden headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, a secretive organization dedicated to fighting the Dark Lord and his forces.

Upon returning to school, Harry, Ron, and Hermione discover Dolores Umbridge, a Ministry of Magic official, has been appointed as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. As Umbridge dominion over the school grows by order of the ministry, she proves to be a cruel and prejudiced mistress leading the students towards rebellion.

Meanwhile, Harry continues to have nightmares that give him a window into Voldemort's activities. He and his friends form Dumbledore's Army, a private club of Hogwart's students determined to learn how to defend themselves against the dark arts. Upon learning of Voldemort's plans at the Ministry of Magic, Harry and members of his army rush to face Voldemort and foil his plans.
