Description:
Heroes tells a story about several people who "thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities" such as telepathy, time travel and flight. These people soon realize they have a role in preventing a catastrophe and saving mankind. This american drama televison serie was created by Tim Kring and premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006.

I was completely surprised in a positive way by this drama.
The actors do an excellent job, and the story is somewhat dark and mysterious. Several people get special abilities, and together they must fight to save the world. Sounds like a cliche, but it actually works because the heroes are normal people, and the abilities are not so super afterall.

Heroes has quickly become a hit show, and I can see why. The story is original and good. We follow a bunch of different people who suddenly come to realize they have super powers, and they have to learn to live with them for good and bad. Each new episode reveals more information about the main characters and start to weave them together. The show is a good mix of drama, action and comedy, where Hiero is great as a comic relief character. This is definitely one to watch, and season 2 is going to be very interesting.
