Metallica is the fifth album by the band Metallica, released August 12, 1991 it was also called The Black Album because of its largely black and featureless cover. It had a hugh success, its Metallica's most sold album, it has the genius songs like Enter Sandman, Sad But True, The Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters.

I seriously don't know how often I grab this cd from the shelf and play it, or bring it in my car and listen to it over and over. There's hardly any bad songs on it and the highlights are massive both for me personally and for the band commercially. I'm not sure which is my favorite, either Wherever I May Roam, or Nothing Else Matters. If you like Metallica or -think- you like Metallica, this is a -must have- album.
