Description:
A Scottish rebel called William Wallace leads an uprising against the English ruler Edward the Longshanks, who is out to get the Scottish crown for himself. William's father is killed by the English and William is raised by his uncle Argyle who teaches him all about battle, politics and languages. William marries a woman he knew from his childhood, but she gets murdered by an English Lords who claims her for himself. This fuels Wallas anger towards the English, who are faced with a warrior unlike any they have faced yet.
