Description:
Director of Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride gives us Georgia Rule, a movie about three generations of women and the unbreakable bond of motherhood. Rachel is the youngest, who drinks, curses and screams. As she crashes a car again she has broken the final rule in her mom's house which leads to a last attempt at fixing a hopeless situation, she takes her daughter to see her own mother at her Idaho farm.
Grandma is not your typical loving granny, but rather a strict, god loving woman who lives by strict rules which everyone around her has to abide. What will happen when three generations of women, mothers and daughters collide? Will structure and responsibilities put Rachel back on the right track?
