Description:

Based on a short story written by the horror master Stephen King, 1408 is the story about a gifted writer who turns his talents to writing travel books on paranormal locations. John Cusack playes Mike Enslin, the writer, who is never shook up by the locations he visit and stay at, but one location has tickled his interest, a hotel in New York called the Dolphin Hotel. Room 1408 in this hotel has seen it's share of deaths, and despite the hotel manager's warnings, he decides to spend a night inside the room. This choice will certainly put his nerves to the test, as no one has managed to spend more than an hour inside the room. The hotel manager is played by the brilliant Samuel L. Jackson.

I love this movie, saw it the day it came out. What seems to be a re-emerging movie for John Cusack turned out great. The plot in this movie was amazing. Most horrors ive seen, are either hard to follow, or not even suspensful. 1408 proved to be a turnaround for that conclusion. And near the end when you think it was all a dream, then hes put back into the room, awesome. A must see for the thrill seekers in my opinion, id even pay to see it in the theater again =P.
