Description:

Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel, "300" concerns the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, where the King of Sparta led his army against the advancing Persians; the battle is said to have inspired all of Greece to band together against the Persians, and helped usher in the world's first democracy.

Reviews:

Superb battle scenes. 5 out of 6 stars [ ? ]

300 is a great movie when it comes to the battle scenes. They are superbly directed.
Close to art in my opinion. However 300 has a few flaws when it comes to the few scenes that don't involve fighting.

The digitally made wolf was ridiculous, and some of the dialog was stupid to say the least.
All in all this movie is great entertainment and if you like big battle scenes, this movie will quench your blood thirst for sure.
