Description:
You are Amaterasu, the mythical sun god now in his earthly form of a wolf. You are on a mission to return the world to it's natural state as monsters have made the world devoid of colur. Your powers are as strong as the people's faith in you are, so you must listen to their wishes and make them come true. Bring colour into their lives and you get closer to saving the world. The graphical style of this game is unlike anything seen before.

If I were to have to describe Okami in one word it would be beautiful. The cell shaded characters and background are some of the best artwork in a video game in years, and the little effects through out the game, flowers blooming at your feet, cherry blossom petals floating in the wind, just add to the amazing environments. Combat is simplistic but fun, until you start utilizing the paint brush, then it's down right amusing. The story is intriguing, filled with interesting characters, and open for a number side quests. Okami delivers difference with fun, and that's rare.
