Description:
The film describes a future where the world is actually the Matrix, a simulated reality created by sentient machines. The humans function as an energy source for the machines, much like batteries. Computer hacker Thomas Anderson has lived a relatively ordinary life - in what he thinks is the year 1999 - until he is contacted by Morpheus who leads him into the real world.

Stylish action blockbuster

Sci-fi action that will keep you "jacked in"

The Matrix totally blew me away the first time I saw it. The action scenes are out of this world and the plot is very original and refreshing. The movie might not give us the best acting performances we've seen the last few years, but the story and the very stylish and mind-blowing combat scenes makes up for it more than enough. Some of the actors do a fine job though, so I won't really put any of the actors down.
