Description:
Wrath of the Lich King is the second expansion to the massively popular online game World of Warcraft created by Blizzard. The expansion will add 10 new levels to the current 70 and give the players new talents to play with. The first hero class will finally be introduced with the Death Knight class which players can become at level 55. A whole new continent is introduced with Northrend which will let players explore Dragonblight, The Howling Fjord and the Borean Tundra amongst others.
A new profession called Inscriptions will become available to players, and players can add extra effects to spells and create scrolls for enchanters to put enchants on, to be given or sold away. A ton of new profession recipes will be in place, and players will also be able to get haircuts and visit barbershops to get a snazzy beard. Mounts that can hold passengers are being added, and PvP with siege engines are rumoured being added.
The story circles around the Lich King Arthas who has set his undead army in motion to wipe out all of Azeroth. Can you stop him?

I've leveled a hunter so far myself up to level 77, and I've had a blast. I've also leveled a Death Knight to level 58, and the start area for DK's is probably the most fun so far in WoW. The class might be a bit overpowered right after launch, but it will probably be toned down a bit to be balanced with the others. The instances seem fairly short, but good, and I like that I don't have to set aside 1.5-2h to do an instance.
I haven't had a chance to see any raids yet, but I will within a couple of weeks now. Blizzard has lowered the difficulty in general on raids, but I think that's a good thing, as there was probably around 5% of the raiders on most servers that had seen end game in TBC, and now we'll probably see a lot higher percentage. What's the point of making something that hardly anyone will see, eh? The introduction of 10/25 variants of instances is great for the more casual guilds as they get a chance to see endgame only running 10-man instances, while the big raid guilds can do the 25-man raids, and be rewarded a bit more for it.
All in all the expansion is awesome. I hope Blizzard will release the next expansion a lot faster than this one though, since there was a big time blues going on for a few months up until the release.
