Avril Lavigne - Let Go
17 year old Avril Lavigne bursts into the music scene with this hit album. The young Canadian woman is often compared to Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton, but Lavigne gives us a much more punked up sound and more attitude. One can easily draw comparisons to Pink. The first single "Complicated" was a major radiohit.
Avril Lavigne - The Best Damn Thing
Avril Lavigne's third album gives us music in the same style we've known her for the last few years. We get an album filled with catchy pop songs and ballands that are likely to fill the airwaves throughout 2007. She colaberated with Dr. Luke (Pink, Lady Sovereign), Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance) and Butch Walker on this album.
Avril Lavigne - Under My Skin
Following her 2002 debut album "Let Go" which sold around 14 million albums and gave 8 Grammy nominations we get her follow-up, "Under My Skin". The songs on this album shows that she has matured a lot over the last two years since her debut album and this reflects in her songs. "Don't Tell Me" was a major radio-hit, but also "Take Me Away" and Together" are album highlights.
Bob Dylan - Modern Times
This is the third masterpiece in a row by Dylan and we get a great mix of ballads, rock and blues from songs like "Thunder on the mountain", "Someday baby", and "Ain't talkin'". Great jokes and excellent rhymes make this one of Dylan's best albums to date.
Gwen Stefani - The sweet escape
Gwen releases her second solo album after her critically acclaimed "Love. Angel. Music. Baby.". Gwen has had help from Linda Perry and Dave Stewart writing the songs for this album which includes her first single "Wind it up".
Lily Allen - Alright Still
This is the debut album from Lily Allen, daughter of British comedian Keith Allen. The album is a good mix of pop, rock, punk, ska and hip-hop. Her music is an inspiration based on her life in London and her parents music collection.
Madonna - The Confessions Tour Live
The album is a recording of Madonna's consert in London during her 2006 Confessions Tour. The package consists of a CD and a DVD with performances and music. Some of the highlights are "Like A Virgin", "Sorry", "La Isla Bonita" and "Ray Of Light".
Mika - Life In Cartoon Motion
Mika's stunning debut album containing the very catchy "Grace Kelly", the first single taken from the album. Beirut borne Mika takes his inspiration from Scissor Sisters and Elton John to Freddie Mercury and the Village People.
Nelly Furtado - Loose
This is the third album from Canadian Nelly Furtado. Her two first albums were more folk-inspired than this one, as it takes a clear step in the hip-hop/r&b and pop direction. Timbaland has contributed a lot on this album, which is probably one of the reasons it's more mainstream pop music. Other contributors are Chris Martin of Coldplay and Juanes, a Latin American superstar. Highlights are "Maneater" and "Promiscous".
Norah Jones - Not Too Late
Norah Jones is out with her third album since her debut album "Come Away With Me". She has written most of the lyrics herself and Lee Alexander has produced the album as well as contributed on some of the lyrics. Norah once again gives us another dose of her warm and sultry voice. Other contributors are guitarist Jesse Harris and Adam levy, drummer Andy Borger and singer Daru Oda. Guest musicians are M. Ward, Richard Julian and Jeffrey Zeigler.
Oasis - Stop the clocks
Oasis sums up their 12-year career with this classic compilation of hits. The cd includes "Some might say", "Wonderwall", and "Morning glory". A must get for any Oasis fan.
Scissor Sisters - Ta-Dah
This is the follow-up to their self-entitled debut album from 2004. This glam-pop cd continues where the first one left one with catchy tunes that will keep you dancing all night long. The first single "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" is already a number one hit and there's certainly more where it came from.
The Doors - Perception
After years of odd pieces released, a proper work from their six LP's is released with "Perception". The title is taken from Aldous Huxley's "Doors of perception" which also was the where the group got their band name.

The Who - Endless wire
The Who's first album in 24 years has been discussed to no end and delayed for a long time, but it's now finally released. Pete Townshend and Roger Daltray delivers a solid album with songs like "Black Widow eyes" and "Man in the Purple dress".
Travis - The Boy With No Name
This is the fifth release by Travis with Radiohead's right hand, Nigel Godrich, as the producer. The album is a mix of dramatic, sensitive and catchy indiepop that we are used to from Travis. The first single is the mellow "Closer". Other highlights are: "Shelfish Jean" and "Battleships".
