TV series are divided into sub-categories where you will find new and old series with reviews and information about them. TV series are added as one product for each season.
Categories
- Action (9)
- Action TV series are typically shows with fast moving plots, elaborate stunts and often contains a lot of violence. Shows like 24, Alias, and Walker, Texas Ranger fit into this category.
- Adventure (1)
- Adventure themed TV series typically contain numerous scenes with characters participating in exciting experiences with a specific goal in mind. Shows like Angel, Traveler, Xena and Highlander fit into this category.
- Animation (3)
- Animation shows fully, or mostly contain scenes that are animated either by pen and paper, computer generated or similar. Examples of shows that fit into this category are The Simpsons, Family Guy, or cartoon shows.
- Anime (1)
- Anime is the term for a particular Japanese style of cartoon animations where the main characters have doe-like eyes. Animes are often based off of Japanese comic books, called Manga.
- Children (0)
- These TV series are aimed primarily at children. Sesame street, Teletubbies and such shows are good examples of shows that would fit into this category.
- Comedy (7)
- These are TV series that are considered sitcoms, sketch comedies and other humorous programs. Good examples of shows would be Seinfeld, Friends and Cheers.
- Drama (20)
- These are typically TV series with dramatic and serious themes. This is a large category and includes shows like CSI, Dexter, House and Lost to name a few.
- Fantasy (4)
- Fantasy TV series feature themes like mythology, and/or the supernatural.
- Game Shows (0)
- Game Shows are all about contestants competing for money and/or prizes. Typical shows that fall under this category are The Prize Is Right and Jeopardy.
- Horror (0)
- Horror shows intend to frighten the viewer or have focus on frightening topics and monstrous characters, like vampires and werewolves.
- Reality Shows (0)
- These are shows about people in real life settings, such as Big Brother or Survivor.
- Science Fiction (3)
- These are TV series usually set in a distant future and/or with advanced technology. Firefly, Stargate SG1 and Battlestar Galactica are shows that fall into this category.
- Westerns (2)
- Shows set in the old wild west and can be about cowboys, indians, the civil war and the likes. Deadwood, Bonanza and Lonesome Dove are good examples of shows that fit into this category.
